- January 2023- The total daily average rose to 188.3 thousand metric tons, up from 187.8 thousand metric tons in January 2023. This month-on-month growth is primarily attributed to increased production in Africa, South America, Asia (excluding China), and Russia & Eastern Europe.
- ·Year-on-Year Increase- Comparing February 2023 to February 2022, there has been an impressive 3% year-on-year increase in global aluminium production. In February 2023, total production reached 5,273 thousand metric tons, up from 5,135 thousand metric tons in February 2022.
