10 “ints” for interns
We have 32 prized interns from B-Schools this year. Our internship program’s our bread and butter. The best in OfBusiness were freshmen while starting off. Learning from the best campus recruiters (Goldman, Mckinsey, HUL, ITC), we throw them at the deep end of the sea with P&L responsibilities. They ain’t here for a project but to shape their careers and our destiny.
We believe that 10 “int”’s guide you to success as an intern.
- Intent – Desire can’t be substituted, can you be hungry like a beast?
- Intensity – Can you slog it out in the trenches; work may demand so.
- Intelligent – Have you gained enough knowledge from the world around you?
- Intellect – Can you put the intelligence gained to practical use?
- Intercommunication – How are you in a 2-way p2p setting? Do you have the flair?
- Interpersonal – Can you be friends? The world’s a lonely place.
- Integrity – When faced with a trade-off, will you always be “Company 1st, you last”.
- Intuition – Does the company’s vision of “profit” come naturally to you?
- Intolerance – If something’s wrong, you will not tolerate, you will act.
- Introspective – Do you know where you need to improve and get on it by yourself? You shouldn’t be told.
