Asian Paints (Polymers) Project Overview

Location and Scope

The project is based in GIDC Industrial Estate Dahej II, Gujarat, and will acquire approximately 25 acres of prime land.

Manufacturing Facilities

This expansion focuses on building a modern facility for manufacturing Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM), Vinyl Acetate Ethylene Emulsion (VAE), and Redispersible Polymer (RDP).

Once operational, it will boast a total capacity of 605,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA), with VAM and VAE capacities of 220,000 MTPA and 360,000 MTPA, respectively. The RDP plant will contribute with a capacity of 25,000 MTPA.

Investment and Construction

The project will cost an estimated 2,100 crore INR. The construction area is anticipated to span approximately 279,000 square feet to scale this project.
