JSW Steel is Adding Capacity at Right Time to Ride Strong Demand, Says Motilal Oswal

Motilal Oswal Financial Services has highlighted JSW Steel's undertaking of capital expenditure programs that will enhance its Indian steel capacity to 37mt from 27mt by FY25, on the back of the government's strong push on infrastructure, housing, construction, and improved demand for auto and renewables. With JSW Steel being a preferred supplier to the automobile sector, it is expected to gain market share from the rising domestic demand, while the recent price increase is expected to improve margins in the near term.
