Jal Jeevan Mission:
Jal Jeevan Mission is an initiative of the Central Government of India under the Jal Shakti Ministry to increase the access of piped water in every household of our country, especially in rural areas. The main aim of the mission is to provide safe and adequate water only through individual tap connections by 2024.
Har Ghar Nal Se Jal :
This program was introduced by our Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, in her 2019-2020 speech. It is an extended part of Jal Jeevan Mission. The program’s main goal is to educate people about various water management techniques such as greywater management, rainwater harvesting, etc.
