Two to tango

We Indians have been quintessential entrepreneurs since the ages. Not just us start-ups of today. But also, millions of SMEs have forged their own journeys. In manufacturing, services, and commerce. In our journey, we have seen many similarities between the SMEs and us, at OfBusiness.

They too dream. But there ain’t wings to their dreams: wings of capital, trained manpower, or sometimes access to power corridors.

They have their communities to help them start, survive and grow. While meager in means, their belief and risk-taking ability in entrepreneurship are fierce.

They dominate what they play in. Their knowledge, relationships, and intuitive understanding can be supplemented, not substituted.

They run very tight ships, they’d be epitomes of efficiency, frugality, and sacrifices.

Most care for some greater good – workforce wellbeing, environment, others about local policy-making. Very few lay cocooned in themselves.

With this in my mind, we have decided to move from being a partner in commerce and financing to also being a partner in execution if it aligns with our organizational presence in raw material and food supply chains. Some have already joined and we look forward to welcoming many more.

Why go solo, when two of the same flock can tango?
